Immunization schedule for babies and children in India
This table lists the routine vaccinations for babies and young children in India, by the age at which each dose is usually given. It follows the Universal Immunization Programme schedule published by the Universal Immunization Programme, as published by UNICEF India. Government health centers give these vaccines free of charge. Japanese encephalitis vaccine is given only in some districts and is not in the table. Many private pediatricians follow the Indian Academy of Pediatrics schedule, which adds vaccines to this list.
When a dose has an age range, it is usually given at any point in that range.
