Common questions
How do I invite my partner or a grandparent?
Open the Family tab and tap Invite, then send the link. The link works for 72 hours. If it has expired, send a new one. Inviting someone needs Plus.
An entry from my partner isn't showing on my phone. What do I do?
Pull down on the Growth screen to refresh. If your partner was offline when they logged it, the entry arrives once their phone reconnects.
How do I export my data?
Open Settings in the app and choose the export option. The app creates a JSON file with your household's data. Export is available on every plan.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in the app and choose the delete account option. Deleting your account removes your login and every household where you are the only member. A household owner can also delete the household with one confirmation.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
The App Store or Google Play manages your subscription. To change or cancel it, open the subscription settings in the store where you bought it. On the App Store, TotBuddy can't cancel a subscription for you.
I bought lifetime but I still have a yearly subscription. What do I do?
On Google Play, TotBuddy cancels the yearly plan for you. On the App Store, Apple doesn't let apps cancel subscriptions, so cancel it in the App Store subscription settings. If Apple renews it anyway, the Plan screen in the app offers a refund request.
What does the lifetime purchase mean?
Lifetime is a one-time purchase that covers your household for as long as TotBuddy runs. You pay once and it doesn't renew.
I use an iPhone and an Android phone. Why do I see two accounts?
TotBuddy uses Sign in with Apple on iPhone and Sign in with Google on Android, so each phone can have its own login. To see the same record on both phones, invite your other login to the household.
